Exeter International Airport ( EXT )

Exeter Airport began operating in 1937 and its part in the War Years is well documented. After WW2, the airport began serving civilian aviation and was owned by Devon County Council until January 2007 when it was purchased by Regional and City Airports (Exeter) Ltd.

As of early 2007, the airports new owners have plans for substantial redevelopment with new terminal facilities, new aircraft stands and, in the longer term, further  terminal capacity, stand and taxiway development. It is anticipated that a new departures building will be constructed by 2010.

The airport has been one of the greatest for growth in passenger numbers in the UK during the past few years. In 2005 the growth of 36 per cent over the previous year eclipsed all other UK airports.

Transport to Terminals:	Customers drive the Short Stay Airport Car Park which is outside the Terminal. They are met there by the Fly Parks driver. Their car is taken to the secure off-airport car park. On their return the driver meets the customer with their car at the terminal.
Security:	Manned 24-hours. CCTV. Secure fencing.
Facilities:	Car stored in secure compound within a few miles of the airport.
